Yes, I can confirm that.  The problem is that the Manifest class is
used as a data type of some kind as well as a task inside Ant.

As a data type it implements equals and hashCode to so you can compare
two manifests.  This means that the hashCode for the task returns a
different value before calling Manifest#execute than afterwards - and
XmlLogger gets confused.

I'll look into fixing it.
