You'll find a nice book there.
http://www.manning.com/hatcher

You also have an ANT primer at the following

Cheers

Subject: newbie: best practice?!

hello,

i'm new to ant and want to know how a good ant-script looks like!

is there a best practice site?! e.g. building a web application should
be similar to most of the projects.

so there can be a common build web app ant script!?

what is good style?! should i split everything in single tasks or should
i group it. e.g. copying css's to a build/WEB-INF/css directory includes a
creation
of that directory. one or two targets?!

is there a site or a book dealing with the style of ant scripts?!

thanks in advance, leif
