Subject off topic: turning off strictfp checking
Date Thu, 18 Jul 2002 13:23:40 GMT
Is there any way i can turn off strictfp checking in the Sun compiler
(1.3.1_02 / WIN2K)? I know I can do this using Oracle's compiler ocj.

I have a project that has a JDK 1.1 compliant applet and somewhere there is
a compiler complaint that I can't use abstract and strictfp together; but
neither this class nor the superclass have any mention of strictfp... I
can't get around some arithmetic with double
