Subject RE: building ejb's with Ant1.5 using Weblogic 6.1
Date Fri, 12 Jul 2002 01:18:02 GMT
Ok, now I understand the bug entry.

However, I disagree with the pretense of reverse compatibility. If that's
the case then, the "dependency" attribute should then have an additional
flag that provides the 1.4.1 default behavior. The way I interpret the
addition of this attribute, the "default" behavior (i.e., super) should
perform in the manner that 1.5alpha performed. Setting it to "none" should
provide the 1.4.1-type compatibility, under which the <support> nested task
would explicitly include any required support classes in the EJB jar file.

Coincidentally, we did try to use "full" and the performance was not
acceptable, not to mention that it includes everything (but the kitchen
sink) in the EJB jar file.

Perhaps, I should just file a bug and take my chances that way ;).

Thanks for the info.

Cheers!
Eddie
