If your HTML is XHTML, you could also use XmlTask (See External Tools and
Tasks), which could do this nicely I guess. --DD

Ah it seems combinations of
and do the job if any of you are
interested :)

Subject: replacing across lines

Is there any way to use <replace> across lines

e.g. I have a bit of html which goes

text

I want to remove the [span] tags to read:

text

I can't use
<replace dir="..." value="" token="">...</replace>
<replace dir="..." value="" token="">...</replace>

as this will remove other s that are wanted

is there anyway to match the equiv of /n and/or /r so that I could do
something like:

<replace dir="..."
         value="text"
         token="test/n">
...</replace>

Thanks for your help!
-Geoff
