Subject Build on MacOS X?

I am trying to build 1.5b2 from source on MacOS X, but I am getting this error:

[localhost:/usr/local/ant] mjaffe% ./build.sh

Bootstrap FAILED

Do I need to do this, or can I just install a binary?
