No, as long as you stay away from <antcall>/<ant>, <property>s set in
targets are visible to other targets executed after. With <antcall>/<ant>,
properties are propagated down (by default), but not back up. So you should
be fine in your case. --DD

Ok if I create a task to be executed before my tomcat deploy so that it will
create the propertie in case the http call succeed. Question : aren't local
properties invisible to other ones???
