The trouble with doing it that way, generally, is that ${ant.version}
doesn't just contain the release number, it's a whole long string,
including the build date. In this particular case, it shouldn't be a
problem, since there's only been one build of beta1, but it'd be nice if
there was a property that was available that contains just the number
(there is one -- it's just not available without a task to get it).
