Subject property: Understanding Of Setting Values
Date Fri, 24 May 2002 20:17:48 GMT
If a parent build.xml script sets a property via an "<available>" task, can a
child build.xml script also set that same property via an "<available>" task
as follow?

buildParent.xml:
	<available property="abc.detect"
		file="InvalidPath" />     <!-- :${abc.detect}" would evaluate to "False" -->

buildChild.xml (called by ant task in buildParent.xml):
	<available property="abc.detect"
		file="ValidPath" />       <!-- "${abc.detect}" would evaluate to "True" -->

Or is it that once a property is set it cannot be reset???

Thank You,
Anthony
