Thanks, Stefan! That appears to be the solution i'm looking for. It appears 
to work, but the usage of <target if=...> is quite non-intuitive, because it 
doesn't check for true/false, but whether the named property exists. After i 
finally realized that i was able to work out something. Thanks very much :).
