You need use the string attribute in the write task, like this:

<property name="myDir"  value="aaa123" />
<telnet userid="user1" password="myPassword" server="ftpname">
          <read>></read>
          <write strimg="cd ${myDir}" />
</telnet>

Subject: Property not substituting value in telnet task

I'm trying to use a property in a telnet task but it doesn't seem to work.

What's wrong with this?:

<property name="myDir"  value="aaa123">
<telnet userid="user1" password="myPassword" server="ftpname">
          <read>></read>
          <write>cd ${myDir}</write>
</telnet>

Returns
myDir: Undefined variable
