Subject Property attributes

Is it possible to set property name and values as parameters. e.g.:

<property name="${demoname}.bld" value="build/${demoname}.bld" />

I have the following build file:

<project name="Embserver Demos" default="all"
basedir="${user.dir}../../../demo">
        <target name="define" >
            <property name="${demoname}.bld" value="build/${demoname}" />
        </target>
        <target name="define1" >
            <antcall target="define">
                <param name="demoname" value="ftpconsole"/>
            </antcall>
        </target>
        <target name="init" depends="define1">
          <mkdir dir="${ftpconsole.bld}" />
       </target>
</project>

and I receive this output:

"Build sequence for target `define' is [define]
Complete build sequence is [define, define1, init]

define:
Setting project property: ftpconsole.bld -> build/ftpconsole

init:
Property ${ftpconsole.bld} has not been set"

i.e. I can not use the property "ftpconsole.bld" ..? I get a dir named
"${ftpconsole.bld}", not "build/ftpconsole".

I'm using ANT 1.4.1

Best regards,
Maria Ivanova
