Subject RE: Mail notification on error status for a batch job
Date Fri, 12 Oct 2001 04:20:34 GMT
After a quick look at the mail-logger solution using a listener and then
mailing a user based on a '<user>.properties' file.

I was wondering if it is possible to call a <mail> ant target from the
listener that do the same job as the 'properties' file.

When I get time I'll try it out.

job

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible (and how) to send a email (using the
mail tag) to somebody when a build fails during an overnight batch job.

I'm not sure how to get the status of a build after it's completed. I
couldn't see it in the doco anywhere.

thanks for any help,
