Hi Les,
     But if we download only  jakarta-ant-1.3-bin.zip file it only creates
bin docs and lib directory and there are no build files in home directory.
So to install ant if just extract this zip file it is not working. In the
Ant doc manual in Building Ant section it says To build Ant from source, you
can either install the Ant source distribution. So iam bit confused.

can anybody give me the steps for Ant1.4 installation
