Subject RE: FTP put problems

Are you sure that you are using the same username and password to log
in as your hand typing?

I had a case where the directory did not exist on the target machine. 
Everything looked OK but no files were transfered (Ant 1.3),
transfering files from a NT machine to a Solaris machine.
