Subject How can I do this in ant?
Date Fri, 17 Aug 2001 19:37:08 GMT
I would like to place the string "util" in the file

  <target name="">
   <exec executable="/usr/bin/basename">
      <arg line="src/util >"/>

When I run, I get the following error:
     [exec] Current OS is SunOS
     [exec] /usr/bin/basename src/util >
     [exec] Usage:  basename [ path [ suffix-pattern ] ]
     [exec] Result: 1

But when I cut and paste the command to the command line, it works.

Ultimately I would like to do the following:

  <target name="">
   <exec executable="/usr/bin/basename">
      <arg line="${mysys.PWD} >"/>
