This is an obnoxious little problem... -----Original Message----- From: Kit Cragin [mailto:kit.cragin@mongoosetech.com] Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2001 2:42 PM To: ant-user@jakarta.apache.org Subject: jar/zip tasks and directory case problem Whenever I use the jar or zip tasks to zip the contents of a directory, any subdirectories of that directory get stored in lowercase instead of whatever the case was when the directory was created. This causes problems when building WAR files and EAR files for some application servers (they don't like meta-inf or web-inf for example, when it should be META-INF and WEB-INF). I'm running ant 1.2 on Win 2000. I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem on Linux. Using WinZip, I have no problem. Any ideas on a workaround for this problem? Does 1.3 correct this by any chance?
