Subject RE: uptodate -- a second set of eyes

Diane,
When I try your suggestion, I get::

D:\etrade\af\apps\examples\..\shared\..\..\pkgs\unpack-individual-gzfile-bui
ld.xml:90: Class org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.UpToDate doesn't support the
"srcfile" attribute

(Also the ${efc.jar} was just a typo).

When I use a construct like::

  <target name="checkJarUpToDate" depends="compile" >
    <uptodate property="efc.jarBuild.notRequired"
targetfile="${efc.jarfile}" >
      <srcfiles dir= "${efc.build}" includes="**/*.class"/>
    </uptodate>

    <echo>
      efc.jarBuild.notRequired= ${efc.jarBuild.notRequired}
    </echo>
  </target>

It works properly. But when I use a one-to-one relationship, it fails.
So Steve, your theory may be correct.

Thanks,
-- Chris
