Thank your very much. The -verbose option helped a lot. The property has
already been set by another ant script. I have the following situation:

A --calls--> S --calls--> B --calls--> S

The first S set the property. And for the second S the property is
already present.

I tried to remove the property but without success. I tried (in S)

<ant dir="${build.dir}" antfile="B.xml" target="use-modules">
  <!--reset the helper property modules-ant-->
  <property name="modules-ant" value="false"/>
</ant>

but it doesn't work. nor does:

<property name="modules-ant" value="false"/>
<property name="modules-ant" value=""/>
<property name="modules-ant"/>

is there a way to remove a set property?

yours

alex
