   it is possible in ant .what nico
is saying true .As u are c++ / c programmer
,have u heard of make file utility in
unix flavours .Your write the makefile
in such a way that ,it will compile the 
c++ program .From the ant ,u can use the 
exec task and compile the c ++ program
Later on ,u can run the java program .
It is working for me

Currently only using the apply or one of the exec* tasks. There is no
"direct" support for c compilers.
