Steven,

Ant's primary goal has always been to be as a Java centric build tool.
Nevertheless, it can be used with other languages. Witness the support for
the .NET compiler and assembler. Whether it would be good for C++ projects,
well you'd have to suck it and see.

All, IMHO, of course.
