Try to add a formatter line:

    <junit>
      <formatter type="plain"/>
      <test name="Test1" />
    </junit>

Subject:	junit ant task doesn't produce output

 I have not been able to get the ant junit task to produce an output file. I have a trivial
junit test:

public class Test1 extends TestCase {
 public Test1(String name) {
  super(name);
 }

 public void testEmpty() {
  fail("failed");
 }
}

called by the trivial ant task:

    <junit>
      <test name="Test1" />
    </junit>

with result:

  [junit] TEST Test1 FAILED

but no output file results. I have tried many variations with path, dir and file params,
without success. The junit test runner reports the "failed" message, but ant does not capture
it in a file as expected.

I'm using ant 1.3beta3 with junit 3.5. This is supposed to work according to jakarta Bug Report
680 (http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=680).

Is this an ant/junit problem or a personal problem?
