Fern, thanks for the reply. You are right on the zip command, but tar still
doens't work.
I tried combination like
<arg value="-c"/>
<arg value="-f"/>
<arg value="x.tar"/>

or
<arg value="-c"/>
<arg value="-f"/>
<arg file="x.tar"/>

or <arg value="-cvf x.tar"/>

or <arg line="-cvf x.tar"/>

etc etc

but it all complains No such file or directory...

Any ideas? thanks,
