It is a bad idea. :-)

Which target is run first in this scenario

<target name="init" depends="blah">
...
</target>

<target name="blah">
...
</target>

Basing special behaviour on the name of a target was never a good idea. To
do this properly, it should be a separate element with no name or depends
attributes

<init>
...
</init>

That construct is not needed however, because you can set up such things
with depends attributes and you can define properties outside targets now.
