Subject RE: using Exec on windows NT

Hi Craig,

I had the same problem. I think you should use the correct os value for the
os attribute. Try os="${os.name}" instead of os="windows".

Hadi.

Subject: using Exec on windows NT

Can anyone tell me why the following seems to have no
effect?

  <target name="dev" depends="compile">
    <exec dir="c:\mobilconfigsource" executable="ftp"
os="windows">
      <arg value=" -s:ursmt13.ftp "/>
    </exec>
  </target>

I also tried a simple case:

<target name="test">
  <exec executable="notepad" os="windows"/>
</target>

thinking that I might get the Notepad to pop-up.

Do errors go somewhere besides the screen?

Thanks,
Craig
