Subject Compile time vs. run time evaluation
Date Tue, 12 Dec 2000 19:14:57 GMT
Is there any way to have the "depends" attribute of the target be
evaluated at run time instead of compile time?

Even when I seperate the subtarget into another file, like...

build.xml:

<target name="init">
    <param name="targets" value="targ1,targ2" />
</target>

<target name="foo" depends="init">
   <ant antfile="targets.xml" target="bar" />
</target>

targets.xml

<target name="bar" depends="${targets} />

... it still complains about ${targets} not being defined. Is there
any way to do this with the current Ant?

Thanks!
