Subject How can I append files from exec?
Date Fri, 20 Oct 2000 13:06:30 GMT
Is there some way to append to a file when using the exec target

Ive tried to do like this

<echo message="@${exec_file}" file="${logfile}" append="true"/>
 <exec executable="sqlplus" dir="./" output="${tmplogfile}"
failOnError="true">
 <arg
value="${db_user}/${db_passwd}@${database_sid}"/>
 <arg value="@${exec_file}"/>
 </exec>

<exec executable="sh" dir="${exec_dir}./" output="${os_log}"
failOnError="true">
	<arg value=""cat ${tmplogfile}: >> ${logfile}""/>
</exec>

When I do like this (on linux) the cat command isn't executed. Is there some
other way to achive this functionality.

I realy would have wanted is that the <exec> task had a append alternative
for the output statement in order to append to a logfile.

/Johan
