Thanks for the update Diane. I grabbed the latest code from cvs and built it
and the antcall task allows me to do what I was trying with BSF/javascript very
easily:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<project name="JavaSerializationTests" default="run" basedir="./">

 <target name="run" depends="run0, run1">
 </target>

 <target name="run0">
  <antcall target="runV">
   <param name="version" value="V0" />
  </antcall>
 </target>
 <target name="run1">
  <antcall target="runV">
   <param name="version" value="V1" />
  </antcall>
 </target>

 <target name="runV">
  <echo message="Version = ${version}" />
 </target>

</project>

bash-2.04$ ant -version
Ant version 1.2alpha3 compiled on October 5 2000
bash-2.04$ ant -buildfile tst.xml
Buildfile: tst.xml

run0:

runV:
Version = V0

run1:

runV:
Version = V1

run:

BUILD SUCCESSFUL

Total time: 0 seconds
bash-2.04$
