Bjoern,

The link you used goes directly into the CVS repository to a version of
the documentation that is about 10 days old. No problems, in particular,
about doing that, but it is probably best to use the documentation that
is available in $ANT_HOME/docs. That will be appropriate to the version
of ant you are using.

If you do want to refer to the latest documentation, you should visit
this link

http://jakarta.apache.org/cvsweb/index.cgi/jakarta-ant/docs/index.html

and then pick the appropriate version to look at. For example, the ant
1.2 manual is version 1.136

Cheers
Conor

Thank you Conor,

I referred to the manual on
http://jakarta.apache.org/cvsweb/index.cgi/~checkout~/jakarta-ant/docs/i
ndex.html?rev=1.132&content-type=text/html
(I imagined that the lack of these tasks coult relate to my "old"
version 1.1, but I could'nt find these tasks in the Release Notes for
ant 1.2, too.)

ok, thanks again

Bjoern
