Subject RE: Using SQL Task... ClassPath?
Date Mon, 18 Sep 2000 16:04:51 GMT
I actually tried this a while ago. There does seem to be a problem when
trying to use AntClassLoader. It seems that you can load the driver using
the class loader but when it attempts to use it it will try to reload the
driver from the class loader of the method that tried to create the
statement not the one that actually loaded the class.

Evently I got into a bit of a state trying to trick java into loading the
driver and gave up on it. It did occur to me the other day that forking in
the same manner as the java task might solve the problem, but I've not had a
chance to go back to it.

All in the same build file? Anyway, we could add a classpath
attribute/nested element to the <sql> task.
