I've created a custom task wrapped around the idl2java compiler from
visigenic.  I'm calling the idl2java class directly, so processing is
happening withing the ant vm much like javac.  The only real trick was to
figure out the parameter strings, and then install a
java.lang.SecurityManager around it to prevent idl2java from calling
System.exit(x).  I've been compiling with it for a week or so, and it works
great.

It's only 2 classes... Send me a message directly if you'd like them.
