Subject RE: signing jar
Date Fri, 04 Aug 2000 16:53:29 GMT
I am using the JDK 1.3, I tryed to used jarsigner & keytool. I think I
understand how it works, I put some certificate in a keystore with some
alias using Keytool, but jarsigner is not able to find the certificate I
always have "jarsigner: certificate not found for: foo" . So instead of
wasting time trying to use jarsigner, I'll prefer to use signtool, which I
am able to use with no problem.

Thank you

I do not understand what you mean ? Have you used the jarsigner before - do
you understand it ? If so signjar should be just a direct translation. Of
course it is 1.2+ specific

<signjar jar="myJar.jar" alias="bob" storepass="pass"
keystore=".myKeystore" />
