Subject trouble building ant
Date Thu, 03 Aug 2000 18:06:10 GMT
Forgive me if this is simple, but I'm pretty java stupid. I'm trying to get
jakarta-ant built so I can do a fresh build of tomcat, as the binary
distribution hasn't been working for our needs. I have jdk1.2.2 on redhat
linux 6.2 and got the bootstrap.sh file to run just fine. When I run the
build.sh for ant I get:

./build.sh -Ddist.dir=/usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-ant dist
Building with classpath /usr/bin/jdk1.2.2/lib/ext/:./lib/ant.jar:./lib/xml.jar
Buildfile: build.xml
Project base dir set to: /usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-ant
Executing Target: prepare
Created dir: /usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-ant/build
Executing Target: check_for_optional_packages
Executing Target: compile
Created dir: /usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-ant/build/classes
Compiling 53 source files to /usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-ant/build/classes

Any suggestions as to a fix?
