I have tried that and it does not work.

I am wondering if something is wrong with the distribution that I have.
I have the jakarta\bin and jakarta\lib directories and a jakarta\src directory that seems
to contain
source code for the class that cannot be found.

Do I need to build these.

Dayton.

You have probably a problem with your class path.
Is ant in a "long file name" directory?
If yes try to put it in a directory which is 8 charactere long directory. Change the ANT_HOME
variable according to the new Directory name.
    It should work.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hello all,

I am compiling a CORBA ORB core (Jacorb 1.1) using JAKARTA-ANT on windows 95 and I keep
getting the error below :

    Exception in thread "main" "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : org/apache/tools/ant/Main

    I am using JDK 1.2.2.

Does anyone have the solution to this problem.

    Regards,
    Dayton
