Hi Stefan,

	Thanks, but I think that I know what the problem is.  (Someone
explained on the Cocoon list.)  Filtering must be set to "off" when
copying binaries during a build.  I guess that filtering=on is line by
line, whereas filtering=off is byte by byte--at least that's how the story
went!
