I want to pass to some application the following string:\\

So I use the following:\\
{noformat}=20
<exec executable=3D"some_executable.exe">
<arg value=3D"&lt;link rel=3D&quote;icon&quote; type=3D&quote;image/png&quo=
te; size=3D&quote;48x48&quote; href=3D&quote;path/to/my/favion.png&quote; /=

</exec>

However, the application gets this instead:\\
{noformat}
<link rel=3Dicon type=3Dimage/png size=3D48x48 href=3Dpath/to/my/favion.png=
 />
{noformat}

Double quotes were stripped by MSWindows because they were not properly esc=
aped in the command line by Ant.

I wrote a piece of code to do escaping of double quotes properly, and I wil=
l try to attach it to the issue later on if I can.
