Summary: javac task's 'srcdir' and 'destdir' attributes should
not have long path as their values
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: notifications@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ravi.aroy@gmail.com

My environment includes Windows XP with SP2, Ant 1.7.0, JDK 1.6.0_03-b05, I had
problems in compiliing junit tests.

Problems were : 'Error starting C:\toos\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin\java.exe'
and 'Error starting modern compiler' one or the other alternatively during my
investigation.

During investigating the same I found that javac task's 'srcdir' and 'destdir'
attribute should not have long path as their values.

Currently I m having 'srcdir' attribute value path spanned in 77 characters
and 'destdir' attribute value path spanned in 38 characters and my tests are
being compiled successfully.
