buzzterrier - I have just released a new version of IvySvn (2.0.0-beta5) at 

http://code.google.com/p/ivysvn/downloads/list

which no longer deletes the publish folder when binaryDiff="false". So if you want to use
this with your original publish pattern it should work now.
