Subject AW: When is planned release of ant 1.8.0?
Date Thu, 09 Jul 2009 05:45:15 GMT
Ant doesnt have a "release plan".
The next version will be available when "its finished" ;-)
This means:
- there must be some fixes, new features in the codebase
- the PMC must think the "new" things are a new version worth
- a volunteer to build the release
...

Do you think there are fixes or features in SVN-Head and not in Ant 1.7.1 so we should make
a release?

Jan

What does it mean, that it is no schedule for next release?

the previous versions is out more than an year. I don't understand why hasn't new release
been released yet ?
