           Summary: Inconsistent error detection for 'Duplicate target'
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: gillouxGaillard@wanadoo.fr

Duplicate targets in the build file were not allowed in ant 1.5, then with
ant 1.6 and with import files and targets being allowed to be overridden,
duplicate targets where incorrectly allowed.

Revision 1.42 (or around) of ant/helper/ProjectHelper2.java attempted to fix
this.
But if you considere the build files (given below), running:
  ant -f build-test.xml
doesn't work and fails with "Duplicate target 'common.target-1'"
while running:
  ant -f common.xml
works.

Additionally, it would be nice to know the filename where a particular target
comes from in the error message.

build-test.xml:
<project name="test" default="compile" basedir="..">
  <import file="common.xml"/>
</project>

common.xml:
<project name="common" default="compile">
  <target name="target-1"/>
  <target name="common.target-1"/>
  <target name="compile"/>
</project>
