           Summary: Class-Path attribute is not merged in the proper order
                    in <manifest>
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: wyuenho@gmail.com

build.xml:

<manifest>
  <attribute name="Class-Path" value="commons-cli-1.0.jar commons-lang-2.2.jar
resolver.jar xercesImpl.jar xml-apis.jar" />
  <attribute name="Main-Class" value="edu.bu.cs.snbench.snafuc.snafugg.Snafugg" />
</manifest>

META-INF/MANIFEST.MF:

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.7.0
Created-By: 1.5.0_07-87 ("Apple Computer, Inc.")
Main-Class: edu.bu.cs.snbench.snafuc.snafugg.Snafugg
Class-Path: commons-cli-1.0.jar commons-lang-2.2.jar resolver.jar xerc
 esImpl.jar xml-apis.jar

Problem:
The Class-Path attribute should come immediately after the Manifest-Version
attribute, otherwise the jar won't load with the classpath. This bug has been
confirmed on Windows XP with Sun JDK 1.5, and MacOSX with Apple's JDK 1.5. This
problem has been here since as least Ant 1.6.5.
