Make no mistake, it's no different in essence that target's if/unless, which people must resort to otherwise if they want to use Ant proper (no Ant-Contrib), except that it creates "spaghetti" code. Having if/unless on all tasks would make the conditions less visible, because of the tasks' own attributes, but is itself often "virgin" of attributes, so they stand out well. I used my conditional much more than Ant-Contrib's .
