resultproperty (or some new attribute similar to resultproperty - maybe
executionfailureproperty?) should be set by the apply task when
failifexecutionfails is false and execution fails. this would allow users to
determine what course of action should be pursued since failing the build
process is not desirable.
if this is already behavior of resultproperty, then the documentation should be
updated to indicate this behavior.
