Summary: BuildFileTest assumes a project file has at least one
target
Product: Ant
Version: 1.7.0
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: regression
Priority: P3
Component: Other
AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
ReportedBy: wascallywabbit@earthling.net
This simplified subclass of BuildFileTest fails:
public class MyAntTestClass extends BuildFileTest {
public void testBaseline() {
Assert.assertEqual(new String("foo"),"foo","foo");
}
}
because the new BuildFileTest 'tearDown' assumes
'getTargets()' returns non-null.
With Ant 1.7 BuildFileTest will die for simple internal test cases
where no build file is involved but the larger testsuite includes
build-file dependent tests (hence the subclassing).
