           Summary: Warning 'Trying to override old definition of task ...'
                    is confusing
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: m.champlon@free.fr

The warning 'Trying to override old definition of task my-task' is triggered for
example by the following code :
<project>
  <macrodef name="my-task">
    <sequential>
      <echo>first</echo>
    </sequential>
  </macrodef>
  <macrodef name="my-task">
    <sequential>
      <echo>second</echo>
    </sequential>
  </macrodef>
  </my-task>
</project>

The message could maybe be something like 'Overriding previous definition of
task my-task' instead : the phrasing 'Trying to' seems to suggest that the
overriding fails whereas the task does get overriden.
