Hi,

this would be more a question for the user list.
If I understand well, you are an API user.
To create a task, you can use

Javac javac = project.createTask("javac");

or if this is inside a custom task based on Ant 1.7 code

Javac javac = new Javac();
javac.bindToOwner(this);

for Ant 1.6
Javac javac = new Javac();
javac.setProject(this.getProject());
javac.        setOwningTarget(this.getOwningTarget());
javac.        setTaskName(this.getTaskName());
javac.        setDescription(this.getDescription());
javac.        setLocation(this.getLocation());
javac.        setTaskType(this.getTaskType());

Regards,

Antoine
