is a bit extreme
The script I use is

rm -rf build bootstrap
./build.sh test -Dtest.haltonfailure=false
"""
As Antoine pointed out, the most difficult part is to
find the external jars for the optional tasks (and
modify some of them). These are of course only
necessary for the optional tasks. My lib/optional
contains
  bcel-5.1.jar
  bsh-2.0b1.jar
  js.jar
  log4j-1.2.8.jar
  bsf.jar
  jsch-0.1.14.jar
  junit-3.8.1.jar

Check the extenal dependences manual page for the
location and version numbers.
