Hello,
Sorry, this does not look like a bug of ant,
rather you should continue this discussion on the user list.
user at ant dot apache dot org.
put some excerpts of your build file in your posting.
I guess your build.xml must declare a fileset with rootdir
D:\Apache\apache-tomcat-5.5.12\common\endorsed

So you need to adapt the build file. If the path is hardcoded in the build file,
you need to use properties.

You can run ant like this

ant -D"tomcat.base.dir=C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat"
if you are on a PC with tomcat installed in the path above.
(assuming that the build file is using a property called tomcat.base.dir.
