I'm going to be ruthless and mark as invalid.

We get a lot of bugreps related to manifests, and they are almost all invalid.
Think about it: ant creates most of the manifests on the planet; if we got it
wrong, nothing would work. This is why Ant parses and rewrites the manifest - it
does understand the rules and knows how to break lines, what the line endings
are, etc.

If there is a problem, take it up with the people downstream who havent read the
spec or had a stable implementation for as long as the ant team.

If you want a quick workaround, dont use <manifest>, just create a text file
(<echo>?) and then use <zip> instead of <jar>.
