Is the problem that you want to > have spaces in your stuff, Yes - the spaces are significant to "java -jar" I've read the jar manifest spec and what ant produces looks right. It just doesn't work with "java -jar" when jar'ing directly does. > or is it that when ant merges a long > classpath it strips out the spaces in between jars so you have > > Classpath :1.jar > 2.jar > > and you end up with > Classpath: 1.jar2.jar Yes - that can happen when breaking on a space. Classpath :1.jar_ 2.jar However, I upgraded the input jars which included name changes (in length) which changed the line breaks and now different things happen. My example doesn't work - but the reason is different. I changed the bug report status to INVALID and I'll try to get a stable test case and submit a new report. Argggggh. > Or is that you've found the code I added to detect Jena.jar and stop it > loading? That's OK - we have started using a rotating jar name based on the MD5 checksum of your bank account transactions for a year into the future at the time the jar is built. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe@ant.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-help@ant.apache.org
